Q Bakery Sandwiches sits quietly on S Graham Street, carving out a slice of authentic Vietnamese bakery and sandwich culture in Seattle's diverse culinary scene. This spot mainly draws locals looking for a solid, no-frills bánh mì fix paired with a distinctive range of baked goods rooted in Vietnamese tradition.

The shop has a compact footprint, which keeps the experience focused and efficient even during busy stretches. Expect a straightforward ordering process, often involving a short wait with a buzzer system that allows you to step aside while your sandwich is crafted. The moment you step inside, the scent of fresh baguettes—baked in-house—envelops you, signaling the pride taken in their bread, a cornerstone of their offerings.

Q Bakery's strength clearly lies in their grilled pork bánh mì, but their menu spans other Vietnamese staples, like meatballs, sesame sweet balls, and even more adventurous treats such as durian smoothies and Cyclanthera pedata. While the sandwich fillings tend to be on the lighter side, they balance well with fresh, crisp pickled vegetables and herbs, creating a clean, balanced bite. Their menu also features classic Vietnamese coffee preparations, perfect for those looking to complement their meal with a familiar, comforting caffeine boost.

This place is best enjoyed as a quick lunch or casual grab-and-go spot, favored by nearby residents and workers who appreciate authentic flavors without a ton of fuss. Crowds tend to form even on weekdays, which speaks to the consistent freshness and straightforward appeal of the food. Though the interior is small, the overall pace and layout manage to keep things moving steadily.

Customers often return for the combination of bakery staples—like the sesame loaf or breakfast bun—and light grocery options, making it a modest but useful stop for grabbing both a meal and some pantry staples. The vibe is practical and familiar rather than trendy, reflecting its South Seattle neighborhood roots.

In short, Q Bakery Sandwiches offers a grounded, dependable taste of Vietnamese bakery and sandwich culture that fits seamlessly into the daily rhythms of locals seeking fresh bread, well-balanced fillings, and coffee with character.

Nicely priced banh mi shop which also sells bread and small Vietnamese grocery items. A banh mi here will run you ~$7, a bread roll ~$0.50, a coffee or smoothie ~$5. Fresh and straightforward place, and pretty quick too. I enjoy the grilled pork banh mi but they're all yummy. A bit understuffed meat wise, but still reasonable.

Absolute BEST location and price for authentic Banh Mi's in Seattle, hands down!! Been going to this exact location since forever ago and they always have the freshest and best tasting baguettes and banh mi's! Small authentic shop, 2 lines to order, and they now give you a number buzzer while you wait for your sandwiches to be made! Bread made in house! They also offer other tasty treats like chinese donuts, sesame buns, pork humbao, banh pate, and more! You cannot beat the prices! #11 Banh Mi Dac Biet (combo), #8 Beef, and #14 Grilled Pork, Pork Bao, and Banh Pate are our go-to's!

The bakery has a variety of French and Vietnamese sandwiches and pastries and most of them are good and delicious. The price is reasonable for a bakery. I like the Grilled Pork and Ham sandwiches. However, the store is quite small which causes you more time to check out when it gets crowded. Hopefully, they can expand the store a little bit. Also, I love the Hue beef noodle here although it is not appeared in the menu. If you want it, you have to order via the staff. Overall, the store is clean, neat and awesome. I highly recommend this store to anyone

As soon as you walk in, the smell of freshly baked baguettes hits you immediately. There’s no other bakery in the area that has this effect. There’s not a lot of hype around this place, but there’s always a line here, even on a random weekday. The banh mi is so worth it., and ingredients are always fresh. One of my favorite spots for banh mi.

I like both their frozen pork egg rolls ready to fry when you get home and the extra special effort that they take to communicate with their customers. PS They have spring rolls too!

Best $6 you can spend in the greater Seattle area. Tremendous value stuffed in a 10” baguette with your choice of meat and fresh veggies. Lots of flavor and it’s light enough to leave you feeling good. The classic is #14 but the #20 chicken and #21 bbq pork are worthy contenders. Great local business!

Their banh mi was excellent — super flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The portion was generous, and the price was very reasonable. I loved it so much I had to come back again today to buy a bunch to bring back to Florida. Definitely a must-try spot if you love Vietnamese sandwiches!
